The Missing Key is a small 2D platformer, where your mission is to reach a mountain called mount keyboard to find a certain someone and bring em back to the Keyboard Village. On your way there, You'll see a lot of companions who will help  you in your journey. That's all about the game! Have Fun!

Disclosure 📍

The Missing Key was originally developed as my entry for the Brackeys Game Jam 2026.2.

While submitting the project, I saw the jam's AI disclosure and revisited the rules. I realized that I had not properly understood the wording regarding AI-generated content. I had used AI as a coding assistance tool during development, and this made me concerned that my submission might not be in accordance with the jam's rules.

Rather than risk going against the spirit or rules of the jam, I decided to withdraw my submission and remove the game from the jam. My intention was to remain fair and transparent with the organizers and other participants, rather than knowingly submit something that might not follow the jam's rules.

I take responsibility for not properly reviewing and understanding the rules beforehand. I chose to withdraw out of respect for the jam and its participants.

The game will remain available here as a personal project and as a record of what I created during the jam period.
